The Chiffchaff has landed

Our first visit to Howe Ridding this year, and we managed to sneak some lovely sunshine, though no butterflies.
We were delighted to hear our first British Chiffchaff and they must have followed us here from the Algarve last week.
The wild daffodils are all fully out, and primroses too, though the trees are still bare.
This great view to the Lake District fells is one of my favourites, and there is a lovely house here which I rather covet!
