purple rain

Today we did go to the botanics. And what a glorious day it was. It really did feel like spring. The rhododendron are not quite there yet - the early ones are nearly over, but the ones on the hill by the glass houses are not quite there yet. I once managed to get there when the entire hill was in bloom - what a spectacular sight that was. Maybe we'll manage to go again soon...
