A Clear Day

What a superb day it has been for taking big landscapes. The light was so clear and there were distant views wherever you looked. Snow has reappeared on the hills but there are also significant signs of spring. I had several shots to post as a a blip but settled on this view from the track leading to North Third. On the left are the wooded slopes of Gillies Hill with the Ochils behind. Stirling and the Hillfoots are central and in the distance the hills of Fife, West Lomond being prominent.
