So many to choose from but .....

........ this little Glasswinged Butterfly won the day.

In Spanish it is called "Espejitos" which translates to "little mirrors".

He is a brush-footed butterfly and just so beautiful ......

Latin name: Greta oto .......... see him larger.


We spent a fabulous two and a quarter hours in the Butterfly Rainforest in Gainesville this morning ...... a private visit for 25 of us so plenty of room to move around and take full advantage of all the beauty flying around. Everyone enjoyed it - and fun was had when butterflies landed on cameras, on feet and even one large one took a liking to PhotoMatt's face and sat there for a while!! (Photos were taken of this and one may be blipped).

We are trying to tag our journal entries from here with bobb2014 ...... I hope everyone remembers and then you can see all of our photos in one place rather than hopping in and out of different journals.
