Lochan na h-Earba
It was so much better than we were entitled to expect from the forecast. We headed to Lochan na h-Earba expecting a blizzard. In truth it was bitterly cold in the wind but the views to the sparkling mountains were beautiful.
These walks are doubly wholesome as we always take a big heap of fruit in the rucksack for lunch. There is just enough room left after the tripod goes in.
Given that Laggan Dam has been spilling water most of the week it is hardly surprising that this hill loch was similarly swollen. There was no expansive beach to run daft on.
