Pure Folly

Our original plan for today was a trip to the Suffolk coast, however, the weather forecast suggested it would be four hours driving for a wet and exceedingly bracing walk on the beach and we demurred.

The backup choice was a visit to Wimpole Hall (NT). The weather looked somewhat unpredictable. Luck would have it that we decided to look round the house first, during which time it threw it down with hail. Good choice, we thought.

After lunch we succeeded in a walk, in the dry, up to the folly. I've been oscillating between the colour and mono version of this one. Still not sure.

Thoughts anyone?

There are a few other shots from Wimpole in the Blipfolio. The stabilising of the Sony body never ceases to amaze me. The indoor shots are handheld and without flash (as regulations required). The one of the ceiling is at arms length because of an obstruction on the floor.
