It might just catch on
Ru's 14th birthday today.
He's never been a huge fan of cake, birthday or otherwise. For his 5th birthday party he decided he wanted a type of cake that he would actually like to eat. The Cookie Mountain was born. This consisted of chocolate chip cookies and ginger nuts piled up in a mountain shape stuck together with melted chocolate, more chocolate poured over the top and dotted with chocolate buttons. It was a huge success, for days we had confused parents asking where they could buy this miraculous cake that the kids were raving about.
However this morning when I asked him what kind of cake he would like he rolled his eyes in a teenagerish way and said that actually he wasn't bothered, he'd be quite happy with a caramel wafer.
His wish, is my command!
