Mallard

This morning I booked myself a little holiday! I have school holidays coming up, and although I'm still pretty poor, I wanted to do a little bit of travelling in that time before next term starts, so I started researching the various forms of cheap transport the UK and Europe have to offer. I ended up getting a return overnight bus fare to Edinburgh for 29 pounds! So I'll be spending four days there in April - excited!

I then got the bus to Westfield shopping centre in Stratford because I still needed to buy a doona (sorry, duvet) cover! I spotted this guy swimming about in a fountain. I was pretty stoked when I found a Marvel doona cover with all the comic book characters on it! I also bought a laundry hamper, some tea towels, new pyjamas and few other things!

After coming home and meeting one my housemates, Amanda (who is lovely!) I headed to Clapham Junction to meet up with a friend from Melbourne who has generously taken me under her wing. I got to meet her housemates and we all had a little too much wine and very fun night out!
