The key to independence

this may not look like much but it is a big milestone. Before my ex moved out, he used to do the bins. The key to the garden gate is old and not replicable so it is kept in a key safe so the gardeners can access it. For me to put the bin out, I have had to sit on the front wall, in the dark to get the key. I never want to do this late at night when I get home. I am usually too tired and also it is a bit dark and scary. This means that I have often spent my weekends tripping to the dump to deal with rubbish. Now that I have this new lock fitted, I have a key on my key ring and I can sort the bins in a iffy. Hoorah for independence huh?

I spend a lovely afternoon with Lois. Shame I have to go to work tomorrow.
