Contrasts
It was a great evening for photography at the West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade, with clear(ish) skies and a gorgeous sunset.
There were several people fishing there — what a great spot to fish, overlooking the sunset and the western Hong Kong skyline! This person just happened to be perfectly placed for this photo. I love the contrast between the unhurried, relaxed fisherman (or woman) in the foreground and the city skyline in the background.
Other than fisherfolk, there were lots of photographers (waiting for the sunset) and picnickers, a wedding party taking photos and an emo-looking man leaning against a tree, looking at the sunset and playing a guitar.
Other photos from the evening here — can you spot the similarity in all four photos?
