Tiger's Nest Monastery

Set off early this morning from our camp to trek down to the famous tiger's nest monastery. Took us a good 3 hours to get there with the additional overnight snowfall making conditions more tricky for me! This is the view from the other side of the mountainside - just needed to climbdown and then up what seemed like 100s of steps to get there. Worth it though - hiker died last year taking a shortcut!! Monastery itself was stunning. Long walk back and we are now back in luxury and can wash without freezing! Final long trek tomorrow...
