Over chitted?

A spring clean of kitchen cupboards has began, overdue by the state of these potatoes. A bag of 4 potatoes, obviously forgotten have decided to grow, Think they may be too "chitted" to plant as the longest tendril measures over a metre. I don't like housework, did I need to tell you that?
