Something Astir In The Kitchen, Day 1

Contemplating doing something with these. They belonged to my late Mother-in-law and came to our house when she moved in with us. The Man says they were probably his grandmother's. Having thrown out a set of my great aunts when I cleared her house I was glad of a second chance.

A few years of housekeeping soon saw me disenchanted with the plastic inaccurate ones, then the ones with flat batteries. These are so reliable and have been modernised by the addition of smart brass metric weights.

On balance - they're perfect!
