One man and his dog

Thank you for all the kind words on yesterday's blip. Last night was very tough and the kids were devastated at the loss of their Grandad Jack, but we talked about the good times we had with him and went through a collection of photos of him and that helped all of us.

Keeping the pressure up, this morning Mrs Smith's sister had surgery and we'll now wait three weeks with fingers crossed for the results of that. It's also been a day of paperwork and phone calls to let all of the powers that be know that Jack has left the building but I did manage a quick walk with the whippet this morning. She let me know she was unimpressed with my dawdling when I stopped, once again, to take shadow photos.
