Jazz Around Town

A full day today...

Enjoyed waking up late this morning at the Fairmont and then walking over to enjoy a huge breakfast at the downtown Flames restaurant. Chris had corned beef hash eggs benedict and I ordered a avocado, onion & mushroom omelet. Mmmm... good.

After check-out we drove home and arrived just a few minutes before Maita & Roy dropped our boys at home. We really appreciate them being available to take the kids overnight and allow us some time alone.

Caught up on a few chores around the house & then I drove Kyle downtown to prepare for his school concert. On the way home I stopped to buy something X-Rated for Chris. also picked up Chinese take-out for Brandon since he'd be staying home alone tonight.

Finally, Chris & I drove back downtown to San Jose State University where Kyle's 'Jazz Around Town' school fundraiser concert was taking place. It's a great music venue: a large hall on campus that has wonderful acoustics. A step above the indoor lunchroom at school where their concerts are normally held. Great music all evening... we're proud of our saxophone player!
