Autumn equinox + 2 days

Wedded to the idea of a Sunday Sunrise photo, I neglected to check exactly when was the equinox. Discovered that it was just before sunrise on Friday 21 March 2014 (or the evening of 20 March in the UK). Never mind, I do like this picture of the sun valiantly trying to be seen despite heavy cloud cover.

Taken from the top of Maungawhau once again. I was very pleased with a shot of the trig station, and will put it into the blipfolio.
