This morning after katie and quitas famous piggy pancake breakfast we went down to the beach to play. Mitch and Hurley joined us today too. The weather was perfect so after splashing in the waves with mom and playing with the sand toys with Luke and Leah, Mitch set up a rocket to impress the kids. While Mitch was setting it up we attracted quite the audience of passerby's. There were a lot of false starts and the kids got really good at counting down from 10 to 'blastoff!' but it finally worked! Miles said his favorite part of the day was the rocket going into the sky and then into the water.
We had fun relaxing in the sun and eating. All. Day. Long.
