Look what I got!

Birthday present from mum and dad... absolutely perfect. So excited! I've already taken a picture of a camera, masking the pretension under the pretense of needing a test shot. ;)

Lazy day today except for a brief trip to Camden and Shaketastic. Nice to have mum back, things getting back to normal pretty quickly! Plus found the chords for this Cardigans song on the guitar, been listening to it non-stop along with When the Man Comes Around by Johnny Cash... his voice was just phenomenal.

(Unecessarily big) Sushi lunch with Daniel and Ben yesterday, and a cheeky episode of Pete Versus Life, that gem of a show. Actually in quite high spirits that afternoon, after a couple of lovely compliments from strangers. In fact, today I was beginning to think that Mira must be rubbing off on me... Made lasagne for the boys, and then out to Doniya's with Daniel and, unexpectedly but most pleasantly, Dan.

In conclusion, night buses are a riot. Listened to a drunk boy talking to an even drunker girl about how much he loves his girlfriend but how much he'd love to "ruin" his (not single, but apparently available) Portugese co-worker... there's always a but.
