The shelter

Here is the shelter which is part of the 'longest' bench'. As you can see the 'bench' is convoluted into shapes inside. It was supposed to have been designed together with local school children. Of course, once it was up everyone kept climbing on it and now there is a 'no climbing' sign which is daft. They also put a softer tarmac underneath instead of the original concrete. There are some nice nooks which you can curl up on with a book. it doesn't give much shelter though from the stiff winds which come from the sea.
