National poetry day

3 hrs sleep then work then organised the reading party for our students. They were astounding. Some serious talent there, so dragged them to another event afterwards where one of my old teachers was performing. To get them to go up I did a piece I did for homework for his class but was too embarrassed to hand in. It's a duet of sorts. Needed my friend scott on the mic while I shouted my part Brian blessed style. Seemed to make everyone laugh. Best of all was watching the students getting a big boost. Some were reading for the first time and it was great to see them leave three feet taller.
I grabbed the last tube home which ended before my stop. Que exhaustwd walk through zombieland city centre and expensive cab (3rd of the day due to logistics). Tired, skint, work the next day.
