Sheep on the loose!

We went to the Haute Vienne today. To a place called lac St Pardoux, which is around 30km from Limoges. It is a very beautiful big lake with many watersports centres, campsites and beaches, and in between the rain and hail showers we managed some nice big sky sunny shots. There are a few of the lake here

This is a little village en route, where they have been campaigning for years to get a bypass and they slow down the traffic by placing model sheep around the village. It is also the sheep capital of the limousin sheep area, and they have a sheep market here.

The first time we ever went through the village, we were taken by these characters and on the way home I stopped and decided I would use them for a blip!
