Chilly walk

I had a lazy start to the day and went out to get a haircut at ten.
She blow dried it. I don't do blow drying so it is not lying in a way I like. I tried to salvage it myself when I got home but it wasn't happening. I hope it grows a bit in the next 2 weeks before holiday time.

Met up with Shev and Dunc this afternoon for a walk. Buddy and Bailey had a wonderful time. They zoomed round chasing and rolling and wrestling for ages.
Needless to say Bailey found a couple of swampy areas and was caked in thick black mud as he always does. I had to force him into a wee stream as we walked back to the car to try and rinse it off a bit. It helped but wasn't completely successful. The back of the car is now full of damp, muddy towels and he has had his tea and is now dry and curled up beside me on the sofa. I can still smell a faint swampy aroma coming from him.

He's knackered tho so will sleep well as I'm heading out shortly to a bit of a comedy gig performed by the sister of the partner of a close friend. Should be a good night.
