Guitar....

....yes not the most inspiring of titles and yet this is my guitar..a present from my parents for my 40th birthday - which was a couple of years back now.

Its a Yamaha Pacifica and its a wonderful instrument....also looking good when its on its stand in the corner of the living room...and yet that is not what it is designed to do - to look good in a room.

No its designed to be picked up, strummed, picked, jammed - its designed to produce a wonderful sound - maybe quiet maybe loud....maybe music that you can dance to or even music that you can ROCK to!!

However I have not done that - just the odd note here and there - never played it to its full potential - "never had the time", "too busy", "will learn to play it another day" -

and hopefully I can - make the time to learn to play it - make the time to enjoy it and make sure it does not remain a "nice object in the corner of the room".
