No hurry ferry
Still plodding on with the model of MV Glenachulish, the last turntable ferry left in Scotland. It plies between Kylerhea and Glenelg - Skye to the Scottish mainland.
This pic shows the bones of the main upper sections, the bridge and the ferry car deck. I'm particularly pleased with the life raft holder on the roof. Scoured the inter web to find out who makes them, scanned their logo and printed a tiny decal to go onto a hand shaped piece of plastic rod.
You may notice a pilot in the cab in oilskins, you can't see the steering wheels - both of them or the pipework and fire extinguishers, but they're in there too.
Still loads to do...
