A "day off"

On washing, washing-up, soup-making and car-cleaning duties this morning, while A and T were busy glossing the woodwork in the halls and Mr M sorting out workshops.

After lunch we all piled in to the car for a trip down to Newcastle to look at a newer car to replace our trusty, but ageing, Citroen Berlingo - affectionately know as the 'Bongo'. After a test drive we made the big decision and paid the deposit... It's a Peugeot Partner and will, I suspect, be known as the 'Pongo'!

Back home via the coastal route - and a fish and chip tea overlooking St Mary's lighthouse.
