Staff member at the bouldering wall, seeing if a pair of rubber gloves can protect his hands while climbing. Fortunately for climbers who have a bit of pride, he described the experience as "(expletive)-ing weird" so it's unlikely to be widely adopted. It was also one of those strange evenings where I arrived at the wall feeling totally shattered and left feeling more energetic. I have no idea why.
