where the light gets in

Had a trip up to Durham to pick up No1 son's Cal's kit from University for the Easter break. I didn't bring him back though he's off on a geology field trip to Andalucia Spain for a week. Lucky for some. We should all be reunited next Saturday. Great Mad March day for weather wind, hail, rain and glorious sunshine on the journey over the Pennines and back. The car almost knows its way on its own now. Can't have a trip to Durham without lunch in the revamped Catherdal Cafe. The light through the stained glass windows was just breathtaking. You are not supposed to take pictures but I sneaked a quick few. Even the purple clad cathedral ushers who must walk past the windows every day were going ooh and aah.
