Edinburgh...

Had a social policy conference here today, met some really inspirational people, with lots of good ideas & drive to keep going even if you are banging your head against a brick wall some of the time. Because it was so frosty this morning & all the traffic on the way into Edinburgh we were about 35 minutes late, even with an early start. Then we couldn't find a place to park. It was really cold up there today, so on the way back to the car we went into 2 shops to thaw out. I ended up buying 3 books & R bought a computer game. We got a bit lost on the way out of Edinburgh, thankfully A had a tomtom in the glove box which got us back onto roads we knew. On the drive home we even got a dusting of snow. So R & I decided to stop for a hot chocolate.

Mum & Nana are out tonight to a pantomime, bet they are having a ball.
