Green Grass

The grass needs cutting.
Our annual battle to get the garden into shape before Autumn will be starting shortly!
A bit of a bluughhh day today. Miss E started the day with a monumental tantrum which wasn't a great start.
I had the temerity to tell her it was time to stop playing her game on the computer, clean her teeth and get in the car.
She went mad and ending up running screaming to her room and hiding under her duvet.
I really couldn't be bothered to deal with her so I just sat on the sofa to wait it out.
She eventually came out when she heard me shut the front door and started screaming hysterically thinking I was leaving her.
I was sorely tempted.
We have a new rule that there are no computer games in the morning. It's a shame because it's maths games that she likes to play!
I spent the rest of the day sorting out some of the mountains of paperwork and general crap that has accumulated in every corner of our house. It doesn't really look any better but it must be a bit mustn't it? After a day of sorting!
So a bit of a rubbish day. And I'm freezing and hungry.
And clearly a total misery guts. Ha ha!!
