An evening walk with Katie after dropping Gordon at a 9th birthday disco - loud! We watched the swans chasing each other, a heron sitting quietly and then this little egret popped up and obliged us with a bit of spectacle. Just then Katie had an urgent need to head home... AArgh, not now! But the light was fading and this'll do. We made it home in time ;)

I had the presence of mind to switch to shutter priority and set a very high ISO to match. Right at the edge of this camera's abilities, it was struggling to focus and the low-light noise is only just acceptable. Once again looking at the D5300...
