Walkabout Day 10

in Nieu Bethesda, staying with our friend Dusty. No, we didn't go to the 'Owl House' - been there, done that a long time ago. The village is much more than that. Over it hangs this incredible mountain, the Compassberg, highest point of the Karoo, so narrow in its final ridge one could slip and fall 1000 metres from either side for the final 15 metres (or so they tell me; you won't get me up there.)
