Cheeky Charlie

Felix had a play date with Charlie. Rachel and I met in hospital and had wee Charlie a day after Felix was born. Although we haven't known each other long we have one big life changing event in common...... babies!!
I love that about being a mummy. I have met so many lovely people outside my social circle that I wouldn't have come across if I hadn't had a baby. I'm really hoping that I'll meet some great mummy friends in Aussie. This thought is actually quite daunting. That whole walking into a new group awkwardness and trying to start up a conversation. Hoping that you don't say something stupid (this is even more apparent with my sleep deprivation!) or the way I parent is negatively judged. It is so hard leaving such a well established and supportive group of friends, but I know that our quality of life will be so much better there.
