So following the clouds and rain for the installation of the solar panels the sun has made an appearance today (they don't really need sun to work; daylight will do but they work better with sun - don't we all). We have been registered and certified and we can monitor how the panels are working on a website; can't say it will be visited a lot. So far we have generated 12 kWh of electricity, saved 4.7kg in carbon emissions and made about £2 in income. Well that won't buy me a pint of beer but I can put on 36 lightbulbs for a day.
