Bronze Medal

This is my eldest son, Samuel.

Samuel has 22q11 deletion syndrome and ADHD. He attends a school for children with moderate to severe learning difficulties.

Today his school took part in raising money for sport relief via the children going to school dressed in sportswear instead of uniform. They also enjoyed a day of sporting activities.

Samuel took part in the curling event, and won bronze medal for third place.

He was extremely proud of his medal, especially as last night he was very worried about the sports activities and told me that he didn't want to take part in the day. Thankfully this morning he was brave enough to take part.

I am so proud of Samuel today, and of course, he had to be my blip to share with you all.
