the Vital spark

well a cheeky wee night away for Mrs I and I to the Loch Fyne hotel and spa... was very nice ( but glad it was a deal as not really worth full price )

the weather was rubbish going down ..rain and sleet most of the way ..went a round about road as was in no real hurry ( not like me ) ... ok so I forgot map and sat nav ... not to mention a phone charger and a torch ( knew i would end up out and about with camera at night !!!)

arrived and went for a wander , had some lovely food and coffee at the Brambles cafe .. then back to have a go in the pool etc .. its amazing the conversations you can have in a sauna ...LOL
then up to get ready for dinner
it was named a 6 course taster menu ... I reserve judgment on the number of courses .... a carrs water biscuit and a miniscule piece of cheese does not warrant the term course as far as i,m concerned !!
the food was nice
the wine was good
so was the cider

fresh air was needed ... so off i went with camera and tripod .. spent the next 2 hours enjoying the cold and wet night time
