Afternoon tea

Forget the selection of teas - we'll settle for Champagne with our afternoon tea, thanks!

The hardest thing on this holiday is getting anything to eat or drink while on the beach.

On arrival at the beach a lovely person rushes up to you with large, white, fluffy towels, a bottle of iced water and a couple of plastic beakers. That's the easy bit.

If you want anything else, you have to reach down for the broom handle with a flag on, positioned beside every sun bed, and stick it upright in the sand. Within a minute your order is taken and pretty soon after your healthy snack, smoothie or drink will arrive - it's a tough life.

Yesterday, we were lounging on the tethered seats in the sea, when a snorkelling waiter brought us a glass of Champagne each ...... Brilliant.
