Desperate to escape

Back blip 21/03

Well the op went well, but I developed the most atrocious swelling in my legs. I was rushed down for scans to make sure that I had not developed DVT. Thankfully I hadn't, but there was a lot of kerfuffle as to whether I would be able to go home or not. I spent a fair bit of time sobbing :-(

Took this through the window on my ward as I waited impatiently for the Dr to confirm my blood results. Just after 5pm they let me go home... hoorah.
