Back blip 21/03

Having spent a sleepless night in hospital, but with longer periods of pain free time I was prepped for surgery. There was no mistaking which kidney the surgeon needed to head for with this large arrow drawn on me.
The bloody thing is still there almost a week later. They must use indelible ink.
It was unfortunate that a number of life and death emergencies came in so my op was bumped to the next day. I spent several hours on Saturday afternoon/evening in utter agony once again. Poor Peter was so worried :-(
