Mmmm, Breakfast.

Liya enjoying her breakfast, a very large fish.

Saw a video today, of the birth of Liya's cubs. I don't know whether I've mentioned before she had twins.

Anyway, for some reason she decided to concentrate on one twin and the other died.

But it was the saddest thing, she picked one up (Henry), cuddled it to her chest, rolled over to the farthest corner, and away from the other one.

Our vets tried to save the one she abandoned, but gave up as they didn't want to upset her and risk losing the one she had kept.

Maybe the one she gave up might have been unwell, as it only moved a little after she left it, and they know when something is wrong.

Hopefully if she has twins next time things will go better.
