Painting with Cyanobacteria
I was dejected a couple of weeks ago and decided to start painting some diagrams with cyanobacteria (blue-green algae). You dip in your brush like normal, then leave the plates at 30 degrees for five days, when your design appears, like magic! This is the model plant arabidopsis, as drawn by a labmate.
