Throttle Body Fix

About a year ago, my car started having issues where it would go into a failsafe mode if I did too much city driving in one day. On top of that, if left alone for a few days, it would go back to normal as if nothing were wrong. As such, when I took it to the dealership after the first time it happened, they couldn't find anything wrong with it.

After doing a lot of research online, I found that a lot of people with my car model were having the same problem, and that it was related to the throttle body. Unfortunately, the throttle body is one of those components that isn't covered under the engine warranty, so if I'd wanted to get it replaced, it would've been expensive.

I saw that they (Ford) had begun investigating these incidents, so I had been hoping that eventually they would issue a recall, and the finally did! My car has been fixed up, and hopefully won't have that problem again.
