Solitude

A solitary moment of a person pausing as they look out to the horizon, what are they thinking? Not wanting to intrude I notice how the light captures them in this expansive view, the gentle curves of the sand dunes, shadows of clumps of tussock, rolling clouds above the calm sea, how easily they could disappear or be engulfed if it wasn't for the light.

The day continued to be sunny with a light breeze drifting in from the Pacific Ocean, the temperature reaching 20C.

I was thrilled to see yesterday's sunrise on the spotlight page this morning, thank you all for your lovely words, stars and hearts :)
