Pulled Pork...

...slow smoked pulled pork to be precise. A new bar opened recently on the south side of Edinburgh and I visited there with friends (Ann, Baxter & Lynn) this evening. It's called Clerk's Bar. It's an interesting mix, sort of American Diner/Sports Bar style with craft beers. Their food menu specialises in slow smoked meat. Pictured is my dinner, I ordered the pulled pork which comes with the corn n the cob. I ordered a side order of "skinny fries" and BBQ Beans. The food was good , the pork was very tasty with a strong smoked flavour and the corn was tasty (although there was no butter, I do think corn on the cob should be dripping in butter!) The fries and beans were good, if nothing exceptional and each cost an extra £2 (on top of the £7 for the pork) which I think is a bit excessive.
