Stop on RED lights

You know that situation, I'm pretty sure in that.

Just stop for a while before the GREEN lights on. How many times we are stopping on RED lights? Few times per day ;)

Usually most of us pressing the button WAIT first.
And then we are looking when GREEN are lighting and we are moving forward and crossing the another street on the way somewhere.

I'm doing almost the same...

...except the crossroads which are looking interesting.

Like that place.

I remembered that I have Lumia in my pocket. Sorry dear Nokia that you stayed like the music player for that night - actually Barry Adamson' s LP's in mp3/320kbps bitrate was my soundtrack of the day.
But took an OLYMPUS from my bag and put him in correct and proper position. Slightly rain was good companion for weatherproof camera.

The truth is that OLY is almost fully automatic camera. Forgot about manual options.
So there is just only one option for these kind of scenes.

I choose the Night Scene and 3:2 ratio. I setup the self-timer for 2 sec and start to wait for right moving subject.

Of course I'm again in limit situation. OLY choose the shutter speed automatically.
What a surprise that it has the same minimum shutter speed 4 secs like my Lumia 720.

Result?
Oh well, OLY set up F3,5 and shutter speed 3,2". Not bad for first time low light (or night) scene.

But my timing was not so ideal ...

...but result is not bad, isn't it?

And maybe you would like to know where is this place ;-)
It's in Leith, just three or four minutes by walk from Shore. So please do not forgot the fact that interesting places you could find even outside of city centre of Edinburgh. Especially if you need the chill-out and break from head-to-head situations on high streets of Edinburgh during the summer festival seasons ;-) Leith is worth for your quick-visit. I'm pretty sure in that. Forgot about Begbie and Trainspotting's stories during the day ;-) It's safety place now.
But Leith's nights are probably interesting only for us, local residents ;-) Pubs and restaurants are almost open till midnight only, if you are interesting in that kind of information. So if you are on the way to stag-party in EDI, stay in the city centre, trust me ;-)

Have a great Friday everybody ;-)
