2 new teeth just starting to poke through... X
I took Eva off to Rhythm Time this morning. I love taking her to things like this when we have our time together at the end of the week, it's so wonderful to see her enjoying herself and being a part of it. I know she has a great time at nursery, but I don't get to see that. I quickly took today's pic as we arrived at Rhythm Time, just before it started. Eva is already shaking her maracas :-) . At one part today, Cheryl, the lady who runs our session, was saying "baa baa baa" in different pattern formations into a microphone and getting the children to go up and echo what pattern of baa baa baa's she had just said. Well, Eva doesn't really say much at the moment, but while she was sat on my lap watching the children take it in turns (those that weren't too shy) she quietly said "baa baa baa", the lady sitting next to me heard it too, it was such perfect timing and so sweet. I tried to contain my proudness as much as I could lol, but summoned to Cheryl that she'd just done it, and she came over with the mic to see if Eva would say it again, but she didn't.
Eva and I both had some toast when we got back as a snack, then played with her toys in the lounge. She was holding her dolly at one point and I said "Give Dolly a kiss, Eva" so she did, then I said "Give her a love" and she held her towards her and cuddled her, awwwww.
Aunty Liza came round then to get some order forms for work, but stayed for a coffee and a catch up and of course a munch with Eva. She was really making Eva giggle, it was so lovely. Eva is staying at her Aunty Liza's tomorrow afternoon while I'm off to a cat show and staying there til after Mike's hockey on Saturday. My sister absolutely loves having Eva and says she'd have her over every weekend if she could and wasn't going out herself. So lovely, and Eva is a very happy bunny when she's with my sister and Lorna xxxx
My dad came round this afternoon then. He read some books with Eva and sat her on his knee while she had her bottle.
I made a homemade lasagne for tea tonight, and Eva had some too. I cut it up into squares for her and she loved it! She also had some peas and I let her have 2 chips aswell which she really enjoyed, followed by some grapes for afters. She's a great eater now and I do do a combination of feeding her and letting her feed herself.
Regarding Eva's 2 new teeth, I thought I'd seen glimpses of them yesterday, but wasn't sure. I got a better view of them today at one point when Eva was in hysterics laughing. It's the 2 either side of her bottom teeth, just the very very tips just starting to appear. She has been dribbling a little bit, but other than that, not really showing any signs of teething so I hope they continue to not cause her many issues. Xxx
