Book-club tonight

I met the lovely ladies at my book-club tonight. This time we were discussing the Swedish book "A Man Called Ove" by Fredrik Backman.

"(Ove) is the old dude that annoys everyone in the neighborhood, reminding them about what rules are in place and doing his best to ensure that they follow them. He is the guy that you don’t really want to meet because you are pretty sure that you can expect yet another lecture. He’s the guy that you wonder how on earth he ever managed to get married.

Then you keep reading the book, and page by page you are allowed to get to know the man behind the grumpy facade, the man who has a past and upbringing that has shaped him into the person he is today. Without noticing it you go from dislike and annoyance to just wanting to hug him and keep him for ever…or maybe not."

This book is a must read for every adult!
