HELLO BLIP
My smartphone broke over a week ago. It isn't just my phone, it is my Blipping Camera! And all I have seen since then is Blips...everywhere. A whole week of sunny weather and outstanding sunsets and giant moons.
And I went to Buddy's and ate a giant hamburger. And I saw a great storm, and a gorgeous setting of a Mosque. And then I went to LONDON and saw EVERYTHING. Sunny heatwaves in the park, Prosecco brunch, more giant sunsets and everything else the big smoke brings.
The good side to all this, has been that I haven't had a smart phone. I have only read the news at fixed times during the day, I don't know what random people I vaguely know are doing via social networking, and best of all I've enjoyed train and plane journeys while actually looking out the window, instead of my at my phone. A wee lesson there for me.
In the meantime I've been rocking a snazzy little pay as you go - which has a FM radio which plays out of a speaker, which has been really useful and something my hundreds of pounds smart phone does not do!
Today I saw a rainbow, and was sad I could not Blip it. So my very kind colleague Mrs L offered me her phone, and I ran across the office to snap it. It had faded massively by the time I got there but I remember how big it first looked in my head, and I'm thankful for kind friends who understand a good Blip.
Be back soon.
