Funny who you bump into on my travels

Today whilst I was in Appleby on my coffee girl travels, a car pulled up and a hello was called. I turned round to see the legendary Alan Hinkes.
I had seen him briefly at the TGO awards back in November. Just missed him at the Strands last week.
So was nice to meet properly and grab a quick coffee.
He truly is a mountaineering legend, being the first Briton to conquer the worlds 14 highest mountains.
A lovely man and look forward to chatting with him again :)
