The bridge.

I usually try and make some (vague) plans in the evening about what to photograph for the next day's blip. I have photographed this before but today I thought I would make use of the wide aperture on my 50mm f1.4 lens. Bridges can be seen as a metaphor for journeys towards something, transitions or separation. My favourite piece of TV recently was The Bridge on BBC4. The acting and the script of course were brilliant, but it was stunning visually as well and was an object lesson in how to use the small screen to make compelling drama.
