TB test results tomorrow. The vet came on Monday for the first part, putting all the livestock through the cattle crush to shave off some hair on the neck and inject. The youngsters were very wild because they are not used to being handled and were quite dangerous kicking out in all directions. T gets more help on these days. We worry mostly about the older breeding cows. I just hope these calves wont be left orphans.

An old Hereford cow had to be killed in the yard and taken away last Monday because the vet could do nothing else for it. This upset T greatly as he was so attached to it and got someone else to stand there while the knacker did his job.
